On 18 January 2022, the first batch of "Water Purifier Water Efficiency Limiting Values and Water Efficiency Grades" was approved by GB 34914-2021 under the guidance of China National Institute of Standardization, China Household Electric Appliance Research Institute, Beijing China National Light Industry Association Certification Centre Co.

From 1 July 2022, water purifiers on sale will be required to affix a water efficiency label, which will indicate the water efficiency rating of the product and the corresponding water efficiency index. To understand the water efficiency label of a water purifier, you need to know the water purification rate and the total water purification rating. The water efficiency level of the product is the lowest, and the highest and most water-efficient product is the first level. The country has a health permit approval system for water-related products, and before the product is listed, it must first pass the health permit approval of the health department. The water efficiency standard of the water purifier is to measure the water efficiency of the product on the premise that the product meets the purification effect.
